CMA (ICWA)

CMA stands for Cost and Management Accountant. This course was earlier known as ICWA. This course is offered by Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

Duration of Course: For completing this course minimum duration is 2 1/2 years for intermediate passed student and 1 1/2 years for Graduates / post Graduates.

For Under Graduates

CMA Foundation: Candidates who passed / appeared intermediate Examination or equivalent there to are eligible to appear foundation Examination. Examination are held every year in june and december.

Subjects-CMA Foundation Exam

1. Fundamentals of Economics and Management	2. Fundamentals of Accounting
3. Fundamentals of Laws and Ethics	4. Fundamentals of Business Mathematics and Statistics

For GRADUATES / POST GRADUATES / CMA Foundation Passed Students: The CMA Course comprises of two steps, Viz. CMA Intermediate & CMA Final. There are Two Groups in CMA Intermediate and Two Groups in CMA Final. Subjects in each Group are as below :

Candidates who passed CMA Inter Examination are eligible for enrolling CMA Final Examination.

Each Paper carries 100 marks, Minimum pass 40% in each paper and Aggregate 50% for CMA foundation CMA Inter and CMA Final.
